Dorien Korsten, Manager Corporate Relations & Producer Public Events at Madurodam, opened the event, after which Marc ter Haar, Executive Director at American Chamber of Commerce, explained that the American origin of Avis Budget Autoverhuur has led to great collaboration with the AmCham. This allows Avis Budget Autoverhuur to serve 1300 American companies based in the Netherlands.
Aleisha Woodward, Chargé d’affaires at the U.S. Embassy, closed the ceremony with the official handing over of the Avis miniature van to Martijn Hanekroot, Managing Director Avis Budget Autoverhuur. From now on, the van can be seen on the Madurodam highway.
