Especially with fuel prices skyrocketing, the demand for electric cars seems to be growing faster. A survey by the ANWB has also come to the same conclusion. Every year, the traffic and tourism organization asks the question: what is the state of electric driving in the Netherlands? The result is their Electric Driving Monitor. We share some interesting findings, because what are the reasons to drive an electric car right now?

At least 60% of the Dutch who drive electric do so for the environment.
In addition, 32% like not having to fill up at a gas station any more.
31% of respondents cited 'economical to use' as a reason for switching to an electric car.
Good driving characteristics is something 27% of the Dutch consider a nice bonus when switching to an electric vehicle.
And being prepared for the future is cited by 27% as an added value of electric driving.

Business electric vehicles?

Electric vehicles are more popular than ever in business. In early 2021, 78 percent of all-electric cars were owned by businesses. This is not surprising when you look at the list of benefits below.
